Play begins Sunday, September 8th and concludes

Information About Fall Ball

  • Fall Ball is a fun and instructional season. There are no practices, and we don't keep standings

  • Fall Baseball is for ages 6-15. The 6-7 age group will play coach pitch. The 8-9 age group and the 10-11 age group will play on the East and West small fields. Ages 12-13 and 14-15 will play on the Henwood big field

  • PLEASE NOTE: These ages are based on your child's LEAGUE AGE. To determine your child's league age, click here

  • For Fall Baseball, please note that if you played as an 8-year old in coach pitch this past summer, you now move up and play at the Minors level for Fall Ball. If you played as a 10-year-old in the Minors this past summer, you will move up and play at the Majors level for Fall Ball. If you played as a 12-year-old in the Majors this summer, you will play at the Juniors level on the Henwood big field for Fall Ball. If you played as a 14-year old in the Juniors this past summer, you will play at the Seniors level on the big field for Fall Ball

  • The season will start on the Sunday AFTER Labor Day weekend. We then play five more Sundays for a total of six Sundays of play. All games will be played on Sunday afternoons at 1:00pm, 3:00pm, with some games at 5:00pm only if required by the number of teams

  • We do our best to accommodate carpool/buddy requests at the Coach-Pitch level. However, because we do a draft at Minors and above to keep the teams evenly matched, we CANNOT GUARANTEE that your child will be placed on the same team as your carpool request. We will place siblings who are signed up at the same level on the same team unless you request separate teams

  • The cost is $100 this year and includes a jersey you can keep. This fee helps us cover the costs of umpires, baseballs, etc. (No player will be denied based on inability to pay. Please contact [email protected] if you need financial assistance)

  • There is a $20 late fee if you register after August 31st if we allow late signups

  • Please note: You must live within or go to school within Southern's official boundaries to be eligible to participate in Fall Ball. The only exception is if you used to live within the boundaries while playing baseball at Southern, you continue to qualify

Registration Instructions


Here's how to sign up:

If your child has played at Southern before, PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Just login to your existing account. Contact [email protected] if you need help logging in or if you forgot your username or password.

If your child is new to Southern, you'll need to create a new account on our system. Follow these instructions to create your new account:

  1. Press the REGISTER button at the top of this page.
  2. Fill out your email address (not your child's), pick a username, and pick a password. Then press CREATE ACCOUNT.
  3. Fill out the first page of information about YOURSELF the adult, NOT your child.
  4. When you press the CONTINUE button at the bottom, pick Parent/Guardian from the popup that appears.
  5. Then fill out the following pages for the child you're registering and press CONTINUE.
  6. On the next page, press the SELECT button beside the Fall Ball level in which your child will participate. Then press CONTINUE.
  7. Complete your payment using Visa or Mastercard.
